GECKO polygon laser scanners are now Off-The-Shelf

High speed polygon scanners are needed when galvanometer scanners are not fast enough.  Polygon scanners are typically made to order involving long lead times and high cost due to low volume.  Now, Precision Laser Scanning is offering two GECKO polygon scanner models from stock.  

GECKO-5-OTS polygon scanner with 8.5mm aperture up to 5,000 RPM.
GECKO-33-OTS polygon scanner with 4.5mm aperture up to 33,000 RPM.

These two models cover the most commonly required speed ranges.  Typical applications include automotive LIDAR, velocimetry, laser micrometer, microscopy, laser light shows and as a low cost scanner to do a proof of concept.  On completion of a proof of concept, an OEM may specify a custom Gecko with any number of facets and speeds up to 55,000 RPM.  The GECKO family of polygon laser scanners are unique in that controller is part of the motor which fits well in applications requiring a compact form factor.  Precision Laser Scanning is focused on providing high speed polygon scanners along with related optics and expertise to guide customers through successful integration.
