This compact, low cost, Polygon Scan Head is designed for laser cleaning and surface treatment on a moving target. It is light enough for handheld use. It is compact enough to fit in tight spaces. With a 9mm aperture, it is rated for up to 300W of laser power at 1064 nm. In spite of the blazing fast speed, the scan head consumes less than 10 watts due to its polygon based scanner! And, polygon scanning always scans at a known (user selectable) constant speed. Owing to the high quality F-Theta lenses and the constant scan speed, laser scanning is ALWAYS uniform across the entire scan width! The Polygon Scan Head includes a CDA purge port to keep the optics clean when operating in a dirty environment.
